I flew to LA for the very first time
I met Howie Klein and Seymour Stein…
So begins one of the earliest songs of mine
And here’s the subject of that rhyme
Before you stands agreat record man
He signed Ramones, Pretenders and Madonna
Talking Heads and the list goes on and on-a
Coined the term “New wave”
I gave his memoir a rave
Pray kneel at the shrine
of the genuine Seymour Stein
