Daljit Nagra

Edward Lear wrote so many limericks
But there was never a young man from Agra
Which is a shame in the light of my next guest
A poet whose name’s Daljit Nagra
Yes, he’s poet in residence for Radio Four
Though where the residence is, I can’t be sure
Maybe in Broadcasting House in a first floor drawer
And his poems are wonderful
I can’t get over
The first one I read: Look We Have Coming To Dover
His words flow like Niagara on Viagra
